Raising A Family

I have a toddler that loves crafts.  She really wants to use markers, but she has mastered the art of only drawing on paper.  She got a package of color wonder markers and some paper for Christmas and they work great  She feels grown up because she is coloring with markers like her older brothers, but she isn’t making a giant mess and ruining her clothing.

The markers do cost more than regular Crayola markers, and you have to purchase special paper, but for that in between age I think it’s worth it.  I also know people who keep some in the car for road trips.

As far as the other color wonder products go, we have only tried the finger paints and they didn’t work out for us.  still kind of messy because the kids end up with a filmy product on their fingers and it’s just not the same experience as actually finger painting.
