Paper Snowflakes

It’s winter and that means snow. Paper snowflakes have been around forever but they never get old. They are so much fun to make and each one turns out different so there is really no bad snowflake. All you need is a pair of scissors, paper, and your imagination.  You can also use coffee filters for a different effect. They are easier for little fingers to cut through too.  Fold up the paper and start snipping. Open them up to see all the unique designs. We made snowflakes recently and it was neat to see how they all turned out. the kdis were so impressed that they hung them all over the windows. You can even take it one step further and talk to your kids about each snowflake is different just like each of us. We all have a uniqueness that makes us special. Here’s a site with fancy snowflake patterns.
