Raising A Family

This is a fun little project to make a fun book of sorts for your baby. First, find a round container like an oatmeal box. Find some pictures in magazines and personal photos as well that are familiar to your baby. Select pictures like animals, relatives, balls or toys. Paste them on the sides of your oatmeal box. Cover them in contact paper so they don’t peel off.

Then play with your baby to show them their new book. Roll it around, pointing to the different pictures. You can talk to them and tell them all about each picture. Then ask your baby, “Where’s the doggy?” This is a great way for them to learn language skills and to recognize people and things.
