Santa Letters

One of our children’s favorite holiday activities is writing letters to Santa Claus. We pull out all the stops and get all the fun markers and stickers out and have a heyday writing our letters. For our little ones who can’t write, we have them dictate to us what they want their letters to say. We make sure they know they need to thank him for last year’s gifts and being such a nice person before they ask for anything! It is really fun to see what they have to say to Santa and what they end up asking for. This is a great activity to do especially if you have a child who is scared to go sit on Santa’s lap. It helps them know that they can still tell him what they want and he will find out. We address the envelopes and mail them out. They usually get a reply in the mail within a week or two. They love it when their letters come! They feel so special and then get totally excited for Christmas day.
